The New Ways Green Coffee Extract Can Help You Lose Weight

By Warner Storbeck

With obesity rates soaring up the roof these days, it comes as no surprise why a lot of people are looking for that magic supplement that will give them the body they've been craving for. Today, among the most highly talked about supplement is that from green coffee. So why would you want to buy green coffee extract anyway? If you've been watching the Dr. Oz show, you'd be amazed with the reasons.

While you may think that it is the caffeine that helps trigger weight-loss in your body, the truth is that it has to do with something else, and it is a substance called chlorogenic acid. Chlorogenic acid is also known as green coffee antioxidant (GCA) and it has the ability to influence a person's metabolism and the absorption of glucose. It is known to give the feeling of fullness and provide stable energy levels.

Green coffee beans are not really very different from the kind of coffee we are used to seeing, but the difference is that green coffee does not undergo roasting. By taking away the roasting process, green coffee is able to maintain its high level of chlorogenic acid that regular coffee has so little of. In a study conducted by Dr. Oz, those who took the extract lost an average of about 2 pounds.

One thing that you must consider when you want to buy green coffee extract is the amount of chlorogenic acid it contains. After conducting some experiments on 100 women, Dr. Oz has made recommendations of at least 45% chlorogenic acid. Despite this, the doctor did not want to endorse any particular product since he didn't want to be associated with any company.

The next thing that you should consider before you buy green coffee extract is the ingredients list. Ideally, the label should have complete information on the ingredients used in making the extract. There must not be any trace of additives or fillers. Be wary about some fly-by-night manufacturers claiming to sell pure coffee bean extract. To be safe, it is always best to purchase from well-known manufacturers.

Since the effective dosage for green coffee extract is at least 400mg, you should look for products that offer this amount or more. Some products would be able to offer as much as 800mg of chlorogenic acid per serving. Taking the extract is best done 30 minutes before your main meals. In addition, you must remember to drink as much water as possible as this also aids in the weight loss process.

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, you should not buy green coffee extract because the safety of its consumption hasn't been fully verified yet. The same goes for people who are below 18 years of age. And as with any other type of supplements, it is always best that you consult with your doctor first before you buy green coffee extract.

Even though it would sound nice to simply buy green coffee extract and consume it regularly to lose weight instantly, you shouldn't depend on it completely. Keep in mind that there is still no substitute for having a balanced diet and regular exercise. The best way to lose weight and keep it off for the long term is by having discipline with your eating and exercise habits.

The most sought after benefit offered by these agencies is that the recipient is able to remain in their home while receiving the assistance. The threat of being forced to move from familiar surroundings can cause a great deal of anguish among the elderly. The services provided to them can delay placement for years. The numbers of agencies that offer these services is increasing and they are both federally funded and privately owned.
